We present an experimental and numerical study of the flow downstream honeycomb straighteners for a range Reynolds numbers, covering both laminar turbulent inside cells. carried out experiments with planar particle image velocimetry (PIV) in wind tunnel performed simulations to perform in-depth investigation three-dimensional field. The individual channel profiles gradually develop into one uniform velocity profile. This development corresponds increase fluctuations which reach maximum then start decay. position magnitude turbulence intensity peak depend on number. By means kinetic energy (TKE) budget it is shown that production TKE dominated by shear layers corresponding walls. near-field far-field decay can be described power laws where we used term reaches its as virtual origin.
